Why Reuse?

Reusables are Better for the Planet

Over their lifecycle, reusable cups have lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to disposable alternatives. They also lower the amount of materials that go to landfills, which have finite space, as most coffee cups are not recyclable or compostable. Reusables reduce our dependence on resources from materials, manufacturing, water, and land.

Reusables Reduce Litter

Transitioning to reusables helps prevent more litter from ending up on streets, in storm drains, and in rivers and lakes, as the fewer single-use cups that are generated, the lower the risk of trash ending up where it's not supposed to belong.

Reusables are Safe

Washington State Retail Food Code allows businesses to refill personal beverage containers. Reusables are safe and do not spread COVID-19.

You can feel good about doing your part to prevent pollution and other harmful environmental impacts.
